Kirkwood records & ice cream.
Not long ago, scrambled throughout several semesters and years, we had five record stores and three or four ice cream shops on a six-block stretch of Kirkwood Ave.
Astonishingly, we’ve still got four record stores (only one of the originals), but ice cream just now made its return to downtown after a long absence. It’s homemade at this almost high-end chocolate & cookie spot.
Doesn't actually seem like ice cream the way it’s presented in there, so I'm staying away.
